We recommend making a taxi reservation in advance to ensure your ride. This allows us time to process the booking form and communicate the information to the drivers.
Pre-booking must be done at least two hours prior to the departure time. For same-day evening and night (20:00 – 08:00) reservations, we recommend making the booking between 08:00 and 18:00 on the same day to ensure availability.

Where can you order a taxi in Oulu?
Värtön Taksi can also be ordered for destinations outside of Oulu. We can reach even challenging addresses with our taxis. However, we kindly ask you to provide the exact address to ensure a successful pick-up.
Once the taxi is booked, it is recommended to stay at the specified address where the taxi has been ordered. The taxi may approach from a different direction than the customer has anticipated.
How much does a taxi cost from Oulu airport to the city center?
When traveling with Värtön Taksi from the airport to the city center or vice versa, there is always a fixed price of 42€ for 1-4 passengers. For a larger group of up to 8 passengers, the price for a minivan (tilataksi) is 48€. This fixed price covers the central area, specifically from Puistokatu to Heikinkatu and from Oulun tori (market square) to the train station.
How are the customer's special wishes considered?
Any special requests such as carrying skis, large luggage, or traveling with a pet should be mentioned at the beginning of the call or specified in the additional message section when making a pre-order. This way, we can ensure that the taxi meets your specific needs.
